The first and possibly most comical difference is the fact that when their slang for "fun" is "craic", pronounced "crack". They all like to joke with the Americans about when they say "lets go have some crack" it's not what we think they mean. Some have also gone as far as to joke about how they've heard that "Crack is great craic." Now you know when I say "Craic Fact" (pronounced "crack fact" cause its fun to say) you know I just mean Fun Fact.
Finding drunk people wandering around at 10 in the morning, is not only not uncommon, it seems to be a popular trend. Watch where you're walking or you may find yourself sliding around in someone's vomit.
